Create a Standard Assignment with File Submission:
- Inside the course, enable editing by clicking on the Edit mode toggle switch, as illustrated below:

- Under a specific topic, click the Add an activity or resource button.

- Select Assignment as the activity type.

- In the General settings, enter the assignment name and an optional description. You may also upload any supporting files that will help students complete the assignment.
- In the Availability section, configure the following settings:

- Students can still submit after the due date, but their submissions will be marked as late. To prevent any submissions after a specific date, enable a cut-off date, after which no submissions will be allowed.
- If no cut-off date is set, submissions will always be allowed.
- In the Submission types section, configure the following settings:

- In the Submission settings section, configure the following settings:

- Inside the course, enable editing by clicking on the Edit mode toggle switch, as illustrated below:
- Follow steps 2–6 from the previous section (Create a Standard Assignment with File Submission).

Once all settings are complete, click on the Save and return to course button.
Create an Assignment for Large Multimedia Files (Over 100 MB) Using OneDrive Links
For courses where students need to submit large multimedia files (over 100 MB), which exceed Moodle’s upload limit, advise them to use OneDrive for uploading their assignments.
To allow students to submit a OneDrive link, enable the Online text box option in the Submission types settings when creating the assignment in Moodle.


Once all settings are complete, click the Save and return to course button.
