Dean Privilege in Moodle

Moodle provides College Deans with privileges designed to support effective monitoring of academic activities. Deans can view and access all courses within their college through a simple search by course name. This access is strictly view-only, ensuring courses remain unchanged while allowing oversight of teaching and learning activities.

In addition, the new Instructors’ Report feature enables Deans to track instructors’ activities within Moodle, including assignments, Turnitin, and forums, while also distinguishing between newly created and restored course content. Together, these privileges give Deans greater visibility into their college’s courses and instructional activities.
