Unable to launch lockdown browser
This issue is caused by: Old version of LockDown Browser
To solve this issue, please update the LockDown Browser by following the below steps:
Windows Users
Start Respondus LockDown Browser, select the “i” button from the toolbar, and then click on Check for Newer Version. The version will be displayed and you will be able to download a newer version if one is available.
Also, make sure to disable the firewall by clicking on the Windows key, search for Firewall & network protection, click on any active firewalls and turn it off.
Additionally, please disable the anti-virus by locating its icon in the notification area on the taskbar, right-click the icon and choose the option to disable or exit the program.
Mac Users
Start Respondus LockDown Browser, click on About in the toolbar, and then click on Check for Update. The version will be displayed and you will be able to download a newer version if one is available.
