Banner system is one of the e-services provided by the Office of IT that allows you to access many features such as: class schedule, syllabus information, office hours, reports, plan ahead, class registration for warned students, grade entry, tracking attendance, etc.
Banner Features
Faculty members can use Banner for the following:
- Track their students' attendance in their assigned courses.
- Enter all grades for their assigned courses.
- Register, Add or Drop course/courses their advisees during the registration period.
- View and approve plan ahead (academic advising) for their advisees.
- View and edit their syllabus information and office hours.
- View the following:
- Schedule
- Assignment history
- Reports
- Class list
- View the following for the advisees:
- Student information
- Holds
- Student schedule
- Academic transcript
- Degree evaluation
Access Banner
You can access Banner through this link, or by navigating to:
AU’s Website -> MyAU -> Faculty/Staff -> Banner (SIS). You can log into Banner using your AU email address and password.
