Article Summary

Banner system is one of the e-services provided by the Office of IT that allows you to access many features such as: class schedule, syllabus information, office hours, reports, plan ahead, class registration for warned students, grade entry, tracking attendance, etc. 

Faculty members can use Banner for the following:

  • Track their students' attendance in their assigned courses.
  • Enter all grades for their assigned courses.
  • Register, Add or Drop course/courses their advisees during the registration period.
  • View and approve plan ahead (academic advising) for their advisees.
  • View and edit their syllabus information and office hours.
  • View the following:
    1. Schedule
    2. Assignment history
    3. Reports
    4. Class list
  • View the following for the advisees:
    1.  Student information
    2. Holds
    3. Student schedule
    4. Academic transcript
    5. Degree evaluation

You can access Banner through this link, or by navigating to:

AU’s Website -> MyAU -> Faculty/Staff -> Banner (SIS). You can log into Banner using your AU email address and password.
