This issue is caused by: Required Parameter (CIMD) error message, internet disconnection, clicking on unallowed external links, etc.
To solve this issue, please follow the below steps:
- Force quit the LockDown Browser and Google Chrome. If this doesn’t work, click and hold the power button of your device for about five seconds to shut it down and then turn it on again.
- Open Google Chrome again and access Moodle.
- Open the course and click on the quiz.
- Click on Launch LockDown Browser and proceed with the usual steps.
For Windows users
You can force quit the browsers by clicking on the Crtl+Shift+Esc buttons on the keyboard (at the same time). This will open the Task Manager, click on LockDown Browser and click on End Task. Please do the same for Google Chrome.
For Mac users
You can force quit the browsers by clicking on the Cmd+Alt+Esc buttons on the keyboard (at the same time). Click on LockDown Browser and click on Force Quit, and do the same for Google Chrome.
