LockDown Browser is a browser that increases the security of exam delivery in Moodle. When you use LockDown Browser to access an exam, you will have limited access to the features on your computer. Once an assessment has started, you will be locked into the assessment until it is submitted for grading. This e-Service supports the integrity and invigilation of taking an online exam.
Notes:
If the instructor chooses to use the LockDown Browser for your Online Quiz, please note the following:
- The online quiz will not open until you install the LockDown Browser on your PC.
- The system will close the Online quiz automatically if you try to open another internet browser or another application, and they will lose their online quiz attempt accordingly.
