Visitors from the National Electronic Security Authority (NESA) held a meeting on 27th of September with the Academic Staff of the College of Information Technology. The NESA delegates discussed possible collaboration with Ajman University, with regards to Cyber Quest, which is an annual national program held by NESA for schools and university students.
Cyber Quest was initiated to spread awareness about cybersecurity, encourage students to specialize in this field, and identify potential talents in cybersecurity. The Cyber Quest program consists of four main rounds. The first round begins with a roadshow round, where targeted schools and universities are visited by the Cyber Quest team to introduce students to the program, raise awareness about cybersecurity, and encourage students to participate in the program.
During the meeting, it was agreed that NESA would hold an orientation session on November 2 in Sheikh Zayed Center - Ajman campus.
