To create a new requisition, follow the steps below:

Go to My Team

Select Hiring

On the Job Requisitions page, click on Add to create a new requisition request.

Position
"How" Fields:
- Select Requisition Type
- Select "Use"
- You may choose if it is for a new position or existing requisition.
- Select Business Unit
- Select Position: This option represents the position you are hiring for.
- Click Continue

"Basic Info" Fields:
Enter all mandatory fields (*). and click "Continue".

The number of openings represents to the number of opening positions available for the role.
"Hiring Team" Fields:
- Select the Hiring Manager
- Select the Recruiter
- Click "Continue"

You can add a multiple number of collaborators if desired, who will be able to track the progress and follow up.
"Requisition Structure" Fields:
- Select Recruiting Type: Choose from Academic, Academic Support, Administration, or Future
- Select Organization
- Select Primary Location
- Click "Continue"

"Details" Fields:
- Select Worker Type: Choose between Employee or Contingent Worker
This field is mandatory and must be completed before proceeding to next fields.
- Select: Regular or Temporary
- Regular: Represents Full Time Employee
- Temporary: Represents Part Time Employee
- Select Full Time or Part Time
- Click "Continue"

"Posting Description" Fields:

Select Posting Description: A list of descriptions defined at the position level will be displayed.

Check "Enter Custom Internal Posting Description": If you prefer to manually input a job description. Below is an example of entering the job description manually.

To use the same description for both Internal and External postings, check the option to apply the same description.

Click "Continue".

"Offer Info" Fields:
- Select Legal Employer: Ajman University.
- Select Department.
- Select the Primary Work Location: Choose the building where the staff primarily works.
- Select Other Work Locations: If the staff will be based in multiple locations within AU buildings, specify the other locations.
- Select the Grade.
- Click "Continue".

"Attachment" Fields:
Add an attachment related to the request if any, and click on Continue.

"Configuration" Fields:
- Select the Candidate Selection Process
- Click Continue

Allow candidates to apply when not posted: Enabling this
option allows recruiting users to invite candidates to apply for a job requisition that is not currently visible to other candidates. This can be useful for confidential positions, such as high-level roles or replacements, that your organization wants to keep private. -
Automatically fill requisition: Enabling this option will automatically change the status of the job requisition to "Filled" once the number of hired candidates matches the number of openings for the job.
"Questionnaire" Fields:
- Choose the Interview Questionnaire based on the position for which you are creating the request. The questions are pre-defined by the recruiter.

- AU Interview Assessment: Designed for administrative positions.
- Academic Interview Assessment: Designed for Academic Positions.
- Academic Support Interview: Designed for Academic Support positions.

Once you have completed filling out all sections, click Submit.

You will be receiving the confirmation from the system.

- Academic: Hiring Manager → Recruiter → Budget → Cabinet Member → Chancellor → Recruiter
- Academic Support: Hiring Manager → Recruiter → Budget → Cabinet Member → Chancellor → Recruiter
- Administrative: Manpower and Rewards → Budget → Cabinet Member → Chancellor → Recruiter
- Future: HR → Budget
If part-time, it will not go to the chancellor.
