Staff and Faculty Access to the IT Services

Access to the IT services may be granted to users as follows: 

For full-time Faculty/staff, access to the following is granted automatically:

  • Internet
  • Network 
  • Email
  • Wireless internet
  • HR System. This service is activated by HR office. It is accessible through the Network Account

For access, please contact the Helpdesk. Please note that part-timers and visitors may call helpdesk to request access to the above mentioned services.

The following services are also available:

  • Personal data storage in the main AU server
  • Sharing storage between a group of users
  • Access to an existing shared folder
  • Email addresses for a group (such as an entire college or department)
  • Email for college/department for public communications

You may request any of the above mentioned services using the following steps:

  • Download the IT digital form from IT office Folder Public Folder in the email. 
  • Complete the form and return it to helpdesk@ajman.ac.ae

For the following services, access may only be granted once an official letter has been sent from the College Dean or Head of Department to the Office of IT:

  • Telephone extension. This requires prior approval from the Human Resources Department, from which you may collect the appropriate form.
